Partners in Innovation & Research

Innovation Partners

We are working with community partners to find innovative ways to solve hunger together:

  • Heaven’s Helpers, is a 19-acre permaculture farm. All produce grown on their farm will be distributed through Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
  • Fork Farms is the company that holds the patent on the Indoor Growing Machine. The organization is providing this technology as part of their mission to improve communities.

Research Partners

Knowledge is power and only with the best information can we create the most effective solutions to solve hunger. We are grateful for the following partners in research:

  • Medical College of Wisconsin: Together we are making significant efforts to build community-academic partnerships that will have the most impact on Wisconsin’s critical health needs and determine proof of concept of Farm Link and establish systems change within the local food system.
  • Lawrence University: Together we are developing a student-organized Center for Hunger Studies. This program is providing applied research opportunities to Lawrence students.
  • W.K. Kellogg Foundation: We have partnered on the Kids Eat Right Program, which is studying the effect our Indoor Growing Machine project has on student perceptions of fresh foods.
  • Nutritional Healing: Together we are working to establish nutrition standards for our food sourcing practices and recipes that reflect the food we provide.

Together we can solve hunger. Here’s how.
