Thank you for your interest in helping us to solve hunger! We have a wide variety of opportunities for volunteering at our Milwaukee food bank. Throughout the year, we welcome individuals, families, corporate and social groups to help with special projects.
Tuesday Volunteer Opportunities
You’re invited to join our Tuesday morning volunteers from 9 a.m. – noon! Tuesday volunteers help us prepare food for distribution to our Members.
Saturday Volunteer Opportunities
Saturday mornings provide a great opportunity to volunteer as a group or individuals. We need about 40 people per shift to help sort and label food donations to be distributed to people in our community who are facing hunger.
Ongoing Weekday Group Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities for groups of 10-30 people are available throughout the week. Groups are scheduled for a 3-hour shift on weekday mornings or afternoons. These opportunities are scheduled in advance based on the needs of our operations department.

Volunteer Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Youth, ages 10-16, must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
